Like all modern conflicts, the war in Algeria has challenged the value of reported images. Confronted with the abundance of films produced by the French army, a few filmmakers as René Vautier, in reaction to propaganda, pledged alongside Algerian fighters, depicting their struggle. Camera in hand, they brought crucial images back, although most of them were then censored.
Humourfull point of view on a psychological drama, Allo Police brings the audience in the closed world of a belgian police station, and on, in a human geography struck by industrial changes. The angled feelings of a population express themselves in shouts, calls and signs. A mindspace where violence, suffering, fear and happiness profile themselves. Police services are daily confronted with these realities.

Anton, 12, lives with his grandmother in the suburbs of Moscow. It is summertime and he works at home or plays with his friends. Soon he will join summer camp at Kaskad paramilitary school, which transforms children into soldiers, and responds to recent terrorist threats in Russia. He invests all his courage and his strength. The exercise of war replaces playfull time as Anton is preparing to kill the child who is still in him.
