Sacred water

A discovery of Rwandan sexuality in search of holy water and female bliss. Guided by Vestine, an extravagant star of radio nights, in her educative mission, the film reveals with humor and spontaneity the mystery of female bliss. But is female pleasure really central in this society? With all the lightness but also seriousness the subject requires, the film let us reflect on sexuality in occident. (Dok Leipzig "Next Masters", IDFA Panorama).

Guided by Vestine, an extravagant star of radio nights, the film discovers Rwandan sexuality in search of the water that gushes out the female body. Sacred Water reveals with humor and spontaneity the mystery of female bliss. Did the Rwandans inherit another way of lovemaking, where female pleasure would be central ?

With all the lightness but also seriousness the subject requires, the film takes us to a modern Africa and its founding myths, and reflects our view about sex and pleasure in the Western World.
